NEW MARKLIN 37308 OBB Rh 1012 ELECTRIC LOCO OSTERREICHISCHE MFX DCC & DC EPOCH V. I have recently acquired some Brand New Marklin and Trix Locomotives and Rolling stock, including a number of Limited Edition items.
There are HO, N and Z gauge items. Where possible I will use stock photos, to avoid having to take the items out of their boxes. Since some of these items have been in storage for 3 or 4 years, there might be some shelf wear marks on the boxes.
They are all however brand new. Where a UK courier price is quoted it applies to mainland UK, and may not include Northern Ireland, the Islands and some remote parts of the Scottish Highlands. You must only use this item with an operating system designed for it, such as Marklin AC, Marklin Delta, Marklin Digital or Marklin Systems. This is a superb quality, heavyweight Loco that is designed for the more mature enthusiast, and is not really meant for children under 15 years old. I have copied below some information from the manufactuer and used mostly official photos so that I do not need to remove the items from their boxes. Built in 1997 by SGP, ELIN, and Siemens as a series of 3 prototypes. The locomotive has an mfx digital decoder. It also has a 5-pole skewed can motor with a flywheel, centrally mounted. The frame is constructed of die-cast metal.4 axles powered through cardan shafts. The headlights are maintenance-free warm white LEDs, and they will work in conventional operation.
The locomotive has separately applied grab irons and many other details. It also has detailed roof equipment. The engineer's cabs have interior details; the front one has a figure of a locomotive engineer. The locomotive has NEM coupler pockets and a close coupler mechanism. The couplers can be replaced by closed end skirting (included).
